During treatment
Wraparound care during active treatment.
When you are in active treatment, the regimen is held by your oncologist. The week-to-week is often held by no one: the side effect that appears on a Friday, the question that cannot wait for the next cycle, the second opinion you want without losing time.
What's included
- A fortnightly in-person consultation
- A weekly telephone or video check-in
- Same-working-day response within four hours
- A liaison call with your treating oncologist once per treatment cycle
- One family briefing per cycle
- Phlebotomy and pathology coordinated
- An immunocompromised vaccination panel
- A written care plan refreshed every two months
Who this is for
Patients in active treatment for breast, gynaecological, gastrointestinal, lung, and haematological cancers, typically treated at HCA London, The London Clinic, Cromwell Hospital, Royal Marsden Private, or GenesisCare.
In an emergency, call 999 or go to A&E. Conditions outside this scope are referred on.
