Regulation
Anchora is a private general practice led by Dr Laura Gastaldi, MD, MRCGP. Dr Laura Gastaldi · GMC-registered. The practice is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC), registration number TBC. Dr Gastaldi is licensed and on the GMC register, which can be checked at gmc-uk.org.
Scope of service
The practice provides GP-led cancer wraparound care during active treatment and survivorship care afterwards. It is not an oncology service and does not provide chemotherapy, radiotherapy, immunotherapy, or surgery; these remain with your treating oncologist. It is not a wellness, cosmetic, weight-management, or general family practice. Conditions outside this scope are referred on to the appropriate service.
Fees and retainers
All fees are published on the fees page. Retainers are billed monthly in advance, with a three-month minimum and thirty days' notice to end. Home visits are excluded from all tiers. Clinical consultations and clinically-necessary ancillaries are exempt from VAT under Schedule 9, Group 7 of the VAT Act 1994.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with any aspect of your care, please tell us so we can put it right. Raise a complaint by emailing enquiries@lauragastaldi.com; we will acknowledge it promptly and respond fully, in writing where you ask. If you remain dissatisfied, you may refer your concern to the Care Quality Commission, and concerns about a doctor's fitness to practise may be raised with the General Medical Council.
Emergencies
This practice does not provide emergency or out-of-hours care. In an emergency, call 999 or go to A&E. For urgent NHS advice when it is not an emergency, call 111.
